Study Description:

The purpose of this study is to see how effective and well tolerated of a topical lotion when used over the course of 84 days.

Study Requirements:

  • Must have crepiness, overall photodamage, and lack of skin color evenness.
  • Must have sensitive skin.
  • Must have a device (phone or computer) with an internet connection (WiFi, cellular service, etc) and a web browser to enable at-home completion of self-assessment questionnaires.
  • Males must have none to light hair on the upper chest so the skin texture is visible for assessments, and, if applicable, must be willing to shave the chest within 2-24 hours before each visit.
  • Must have none to light hair on the outer forearm so that there is no interference of hair with visual assessment and imaging, in the opinion of the Investigator or designee.
  • Must be willing to not wear jewelry on the neck, arms, or hands during study visits.
  • Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
  • Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
  • Cannot have participated on a study involving the décolletage/chest/arms/hands at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.

Visit 1 Instructions

  • For at least 3 days prior to baseline, use only your regular basic (having no antiaging claims) body cleansing product and moisturizing product (if used) on your body (except avoid moisturizer within 24 hours of visit 1; see below). Don’t use any other topical products on your body and do not start using any new body skincare products.
  • Avoid application of any topical moisturizing or treatment products to the face, décolletage, arms, and hands for at least 24 hours prior to visit 1.
  • Please bring your regular body sunscreen product (if you plan to use one during the study) in to your first visit for documentation.
  • Males only: have none to light hair on the upper chest so the skin texture is visible for assessments, and, if applicable, must be willing to shave the chest within 2-24 hours before each visit.
  • Avoid extended periods of sun exposure and all use of tanning beds and sunless tanning products for the duration of the study. Extra care should be taken to wear protective clothing, sunscreen, and accessories (such as sunglasses, hat, parasol) and avoid sun exposure from 10 AM to 3 PM.
  • Continue use of all regular brands of basic body cleansing products, sunscreen (if used), and shaving cream/gel (if used). Refrain from using any other topical products on the décolletage/upper chest and arms, and do not start using any new body skin care products other than the assigned test material.
  • Bring your valid ID or passport.
