Study Description:
This study is being conducted to determine how sleep patterns affect skin properties and how well an investigational facial skin care product works on women with self-perceive good sleep or poor sleep patterns.
Study Requirements:
- Must be considered a “good” sleeper (high sleep quality)
- Must have a smartphone Android (software 6 or above) and willing to download and use an app (using a personal email address), along with a device, that will track movement during sleep.
- Must have Wi-Fi at home and willing to connect your phone to Bluetooth for use of the sleep tracking app.
- Must be willing to have facial skin samples (gentle swabbing on the cheeks) taken at the second and last study visits.
- Cannot have self-perceived very dry skin.
- Cannot have started taking sleep-inducing supplements (eg, melatonin) or medications (eg. Ambian, Lunesta) within the past 3 months and cannot take them while participating in the study.
- Cannot have any significant medical conditions that is not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
- Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, or another research facility or doctor’s office.
- Cannot have participated on a study involving the face at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.
