Study Description:

This study is being done at one clinic to better understand how GLP-1 medications may affect the skin and hair. Researchers will look at physical changes and biological samples to learn why these changes may happen.

Study Requirements:

Must:

– You must be willing to keep the same hair length, hairstyle, and hair color routine during study. If you color your hair, you must do it at the same time before each visit.

– You must agree to be weighed in the clinic and have your height and weight recorded to calculate BMI.

– You must be willing to have body measurements taken, including upper arms, thighs, and abdomen.

Cannot:

– You cannot be using other weight loss medications or supplements besides the GLP-1 product.

– You cannot have a history of significant injection site reactions.

– You cannot have used medications or supplements in the past 90 days that may significantly increase body weight.

– Have autoimmune or immune system disorders

Visit 1 Requirements:

– Avoid application of any topical moisturizing products (including moisturizers and moisturizing shampoo and conditioners) to the face, scalp, or forearms for at least 24 hours prior to visit 1.

– Bring a valid government-issued ID or passport.
