Study Requirements:
Must:
– You must be willing to have three small 2mm punch biopsies taken from the outer forearms by a trained medical professional (one at baseline and two at the final visit).
– You must be willing to receive topical lidocaine or lidocaine injections on the outer forearms for the biopsy procedures.
Cannot:
– You cannot participate if you have significant redness (erythema) on the forearms or hands at screening.
– You cannot have started or changed hormone therapy or testosterone therapy within the past 3 months or plan to change it during the study.
– You cannot have allergies to skincare products, topical antibiotics, adhesives, bandages, lidocaine, epinephrine, acyclovir, or latex.
– Have autoimmune or immune system disorders
Visit 1 Requirements:
– Arrive to the site with clean hands and forearms. Do not apply any topical products (creams, sunscreen, etc) to the hands or forearms the day of screening or baseline visit until after the visit
– If you arrive not having removed all product, you will be required to remove product at the clinic and wait at least 20 minutes prior to procedures.
– Bring a valid government-issued ID or passport.
