Study Description:
This study is being conducted at multiple clinics to evaluate how well a facial serum and skincare routine improves dark spots and uneven skin tone over 12 weeks. The serum will be compared to a prescription dark spot treatment (4% hydroquinone) and to a serum without active ingredients to see how effective and well tolerated it is.
Study Requirements:
Must:
– Must have uneven skin tone or areas of discoloration.
Cannot:
– Cannot have known allergies to skincare products or study ingredients.
– Cannot have a known sensitivity or allergy to any of the study ingredients, including tranexamic acid, niacinamide, retinoids, hydroquinone, vitamin C.
– Have autoimmune or immune system disorders
Visit 1 Requirements:
– Avoid application of any topical moisturizing or treatment products to the face for at least 3 days prior to visit 1.
– Bring a valid government-issued ID or passport.
