Study Description:
The purpose of this study is to see how effective and well tolerated an investigational or marketed skin care product is on individuals with eczema on the body over 4 weeks.
Study Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 active eczema lesion on the body (not the face).
- Willing to not shave or use any hair removal products on the areas of eczema within 24 hours of each visit.
- If you have significant medical conditions or take too many medications, you may not be able to participate.
- Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
- Cannot have participated on a study involving the body at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.
Visit 1 Instructions
- Avoid any prescription or over-the-counter medication or skin moisturizing products used to treat eczema 3 days before your first visit.
- Must avoid shaving or using any hair removal products on the areas of eczema within 24 hours of each visit.
- Arrive at clinic with clean skin on the body, having washed at least 1 hour prior to your first visit.
- Refrain from any activities that will increase body temperature or induce sweating, such as drinking hot and/or caffeinated beverages, smoking, eating hot/spicy food, exercising, sun exposure, etc, at least 1 hour before your first visit.
- Please dress to allow easy access for assessments on the target areas (area with active eczema lesion) at the clinic (eg, loose-fitting clothing, shorts or skirts, short sleeve shirt or tank top, etc).
- Please bring a valid ID or passport.
