Study Description:
The purpose of this study is to see how effective antiperspirant products are when used over the course of 12 weeks.
Study Requirements:
Must:
- ✓ Have at least 1 dark spot (acne scarring or age spots) on each side of the face (on the cheeks).
Cannot:
- ✕ Have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
- ✕ Currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
- ✕ Have participated on a study involving the face and neck at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.
Visit 1 Instructions
- Wash your face and/or remove all makeup at least 30 minutes prior to each scheduled clinic visit. Do not apply any other topical products to the face or eye area until the study visit has been completed. If you arrive having not removed all makeup, you will be required to remove the residual makeup at the clinic and wait at least 20 minutes prior to procedures.
- Avoid extended periods of sun exposure and all use of tanning beds and sunless tanning products for the duration of the study. Extra care should be taken to wear protective clothing, provided sunscreen, and accessories (such as sunglasses, hat, parasol) and avoid sun exposure from 10 AM to 3 PM.
- Continue use of all regular brands of color cosmetics, makeup remover (for eye area only), and eye area products. Refrain from using any anti-pigmentation, moisturizing, or treatment facial products (eye area treatment products allowed) and do not start using any new facial products other than the assigned test materials.
- Bring your valid ID or passport.
