Study Description:
This single-center clinical trial is a study designed to collect data over 7 days and two clinic visits (screening and measurement) on facial appearance, skin condition, hydration, and biological markers in premenopausal women with consistently high or low total daily water intake.
Study Requirements:
Must:
- Be willing to collect urine and fecal sample at home and bring in samples at visit 2
- Must have BMI of 18.5-30
Cannot:
- Cannot have any autoimmune disorders, connective tissue diseases, or immune deficiencies (such as multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, HIV, or rheumatoid arthritis).
- Cannot have any nicotine use
- Cannot be on a weight-loss program or taking medication for weight-loss
Visit 1 Instructions
- Please dress to allow easy access for assessments to the forearms and biceps at the clinic (eg, loose-fitting clothing, short sleeves or sleeveless tops, etc).
- Do not wear any facial makeup on the day of visit 1 and visit 2 (until completion of the visit
- Bring a valid ID or passport.
