Study Description:

Study Requirements:

• Cannot have any observable sunburn, suntan, scars, moles excessive hair, tattoos, or other dermal conditions on the inner forearms.
• Cannot be a regular (occasional to daily) smoker of cigarettes or user of electronic cigarettes (vaping pens).
• Cannot have a sensitivity to tape or having thin skin that would be damaged by repeated tape removal.
• Cannot have a history of or are currently experiencing hot flashes within the past 2 months.
• Must be willing to remain in the clinic for 9-10 hours at the second visit.
• Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. Individuals having multiple health conditions may be excluded from participation even if conditions are controlled by diet, medications, etc. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
• Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
• Cannot have participated on a study involving the forearms at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.

Visit 1 Instructions

• Dress in clothes that allows easy access to the forearms.
• Please bring a valid ID or passport.
• Your first visit could take up to 1-2 hours. The second visit could take up to 9-10 hours where you will need to remain in the clinic. You will be given some snacks or lunch.
