Study Description:
The purpose of this study is to see how well tolerated a shampoo product when used over the course of 4 weeks.
Study Requirements:
- Must have Self-assessed sensitive skin.
- Must shampoo hair 5-7 times per week and must be willing to wash hair with the test material once per day for the study duration.
- Must be willing to refrain from hair extensions, tight braids, hair weaves, hair relaxers, chemical treatments, hair dyes, permanent waves, and permanent hair additions.
- Must be willing to refrain from heat treatments, hair relaxers, permanent wave, medicated shampoo.
- Cannot have moderate to severe hair loss, completely bald, or very short hair (less than 1 inch in length) on the head.
- Cannot have most or all the scalp shaved.
- Cannot have been diagnosed with hair loss disorders.
- Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
- Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
- Cannot have participated on a study involving the scalp and/or hair at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2
Visit 1 Instructions
- Refrain from applying any topical hair products within 24 hours of visit 1, and arrive to clinic with clean, dry hair.
- Maintain the same hair length and hairstyle throughout the study.
- Do not get hair extensions, tight braids, or hair weaves, or use any hair dyes, relaxers, or permanent waves for the duration of the study.
- Bring your valid ID or passport.
