Study Description:

The purpose of this study is to see how effective a lip moisturization product and a facial mask, and the consumer perception of an eye cream is when used over the course of 4 weeks

Study Requirements:

  • Must have fine lines on the forehead and crow’s feet area (outer corners of the eyes).
  • Must have wrinkles on the outer corners of the mouth down to the chin and fine lines and/or wrinkles on the upper lip.
  • Must have sensitive skin.
  • Must have lips that are average or greater than average size.
  • Cannot have sores, cracks or chronically chapped lips.
  • Cannot have had lip injections, fillers or other cosmetic lip procedures in the past 2 years.
  • Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. Individuals having multiple health conditions may be excluded from participation even if conditions are controlled by diet, medications, etc. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
  • Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
  • Cannot have participated on a study involving the face and lips at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.

Visit 1 Instructions

  • Do not use any lip products (eg, lipstick, lip gloss, lip balm, lip pencil, Chapstick, Blistex) for at least 3 days prior to your first visit.
  • Avoid application of any topical moisturizing products to the face for at least 3 days prior to your first visit.
  • Wash your face and/or remove all makeup at least 30 minutes prior to each scheduled clinic visit. Do not apply any other topical products to the face, lip, or eye area until the study visit has been completed. If you arrive having not removed all makeup, you will be required to remove the residual makeup at the clinic and wait at least 20 minutes prior to procedures.
  • Refrain from any activities that will increase body temperature or induce sweating, such as drinking hot and/or caffeinated beverages, smoking, eating hot/spicy food, exercising, sun exposure, etc, at least 1 hour before your visit.
  • Please bring a valid ID or passport.
  • Your first visit will take up to 2-2.5 hours.
