Forearm Tape Stripping

Study Description:

Study Requirements:

• Must be willing to undergo tape stripping procedures on 3 test sites on the inner forearms.
• Must be willing to provide weight and height for Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation.
• Must be willing to remain in clinic at visit 2 (baseline) until the completion of hour 8 procedures.
• Cannot have been diagnosed with known allergies to skin care products or adhesives.
• Cannot have sensitivity to tape or having thin skin that would be damaged by repeated tape removal.
• Cannot be a regular (occasional to daily) smoker of cigarettes or user of electronic cigarettes (vaping pens).
• Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
• Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
• Cannot have participated on a study involving the forearms at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2

Visit 1 Instructions

• Avoid application of any topical moisturizing or treatment products to the forearms for at least 3 days prior to visit 1.
• Wash your forearms according to your usual routine. Continue using your regular soap or body wash for washing.
• Please dress to allow easy access for assessments at the clinic (eg, loose-fitting clothing, short sleeves, etc) for each study visit.
• Bring your valid ID or passport.
