Study Description:
The purpose of this study is to see how effective a moisturizing product is over the course of 48 hours.
Study Requirements:
- Must have dryness on the forearms.
- Must be willing to remain on-site at Visit 2 until the Hour 8 clinical grading evaluations and instrumental measurements are completed.
- Cannot be a regular (occasional to daily) smoker of cigarettes or user of electronic cigarettes (vaping pens).
- Cannot have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes or is taking insulin or another anti-diabetic medication.
- Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
- Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
- Cannot have participated on a study involving any product at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 14 days.
Visit 1 Instructions
- Avoid bathing/showering or wetting your inner forearms within 3 hours before Visit 1.
- Bring your valid ID or passport.
- Do not start using any new personal care products or change existing brands. You may continue to use your other regular face and body products (i.e., other than on the forearms) that you have used without incident for at least 1 month.
