Females

30 to 60 (up to 70 years of age for dark skin tones)

I-VI (Light to dark skin tones)

The purpose of this study is to see how effective a facial product is when used over the course of 8 weeks.

Must have appearance of oiliness on the global face.
Must have fine lines on the under eye.
Must have appearance of pores, lack of firmness (tactile) on the cheeks, and lack of plumpness on the cheeks.
Must have a sagging appearance in the smile/laugh line area.
Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
Cannot have participated on a study involving the face at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.

Visit 1 Instructions

Avoid application of any topical moisturizing or facial treatment products to the face for at least 3 days prior to visit 1.
Wash your face and/or remove all makeup at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled clinic visit. Do not apply any other topical products to the face or eye area until the study visit has been completed. If you arrive wearing makeup/facial product or have recently washed your face, you will be required to reschedule the study visit and remove all makeup 3 hours prior to the visit.
Avoid extended periods of sun exposure and all use of tanning beds and sunless tanning products for the duration of the study. Extra care should be taken to wear protective clothing, provided sunscreen, and accessories (such as sunglasses, hat, parasol) and avoid sun exposure from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Continue use of all regular brands of color cosmetics and makeup remover. Refrain from using any antiaging products and do not start using any new facial products other than the assigned test material.
On the day of each visit, do not wash your hair beforehand, and do not use/wear any hairstyling products (gel, mousse, spray, etc.) before the visit. Keep long hair or bangs off the face, and do not wear a hat, soft headband, or any other headwear that might contact your forehead until the visit is completed (unless otherwise instructed).
