Dry Lip Product

Study Description:

Study Requirements:

• Must have visible dryness/scaling on the lips.
• Must have average or greater than average size lips.
• Males must have no to light facial hair, without mustache, so the lips are visible and must be willing to shave within 24 hours of each visit.
• We need some individuals with self-perceived sensitive lips.
• Cannot be an occasional or daily smoker of cigarettes or user of electronic cigarettes (vaping pens) for the past 1 year.
• If you have significant medical conditions or take too many medications, you may not be able to participate.
• Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
• Cannot have participated on a study involving the face or lips/mouth area at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.

Visit 1 Instructions

• Avoid all lip products (eg, lipstick, lip gloss, lip balm, lip pencil, Chapstick, Blistex), at least 5 days prior to your first visit.
• Remove all makeup (if applicable) at least 30 minutes prior to each scheduled clinic visit. Do not apply topical products to the face or lip area until the study visit has been completed. If you arrive having not removed all makeup, you will be required to remove the residual makeup at the clinic and wait at least 20 minutes prior to procedures.
• Males must attend each visit with no to light facial hair, without mustache, and must shave within 24 hours before each visit.
• Bring a valid ID or passport.
• Your first visit could take up to 1.5-2 hours.
