Facial Hyperpigmentation

Study Description

This study is being done at one clinic to see how well a facial skincare routine works to improve dark spots and uneven skin tone. Women will use the products for 12 weeks, and the study will evaluate changes in the appearance of pigmentation and overall skin tone.
Compensation: Up $400.00

Demographic

Gender: Female
Age: 35– 65 Years Old (up to 75 years of age for subject of Asian race)
Skin Type: Fitz I-VI

Requirements

Must:

  • Must have mild to moderate hyperpigmentation, dark spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), or uneven skin tone on the face.
  • Must have mild to moderate hyperpigmentation, dark spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), or uneven skin tone on the face.
  • Must be in general good health.

Cannot:

  • Cannot know allergies to skincare products.
  • Cannot have sensitive facial skin.
  • Cannot have recently used Accutane, retinoids, prescription skin-lightening products, retinol, or other products that affect skin pigmentation or aging.
  • Cannot have active skin conditions or other dermatological conditions on the face that could interfere with the study.
  • Cannot have sunburn, suntan, scars, tattoos, or other conditions on the face that could affect study results.
  • Cannot have an autoimmune disease or a history of immunosuppression.
  • Cannot be currently using systemic or topical corticosteroids within the specified timeframe.

Visit 1 Requirements:

  • Avoid application of any topical moisturizing products to the face for at least 24 hours prior to visit 1.
  • Bring a valid government-issued ID or passport.
