Lower Leg Moisturization

Study Description:

Study Requirements:

• Must have dry skin on the lateral lower legs.
• Must be willing to rest quietly in the clinic building without going outdoors until the completion of all procedures at the baseline visit.
• Must be willing to attend 2 study visits on consecutive days.
• Must be willing to return to the clinic or remain in clinic for hour 8 and hour 12 procedures
• Must be willing to return to clinic the day after baseline visit for hour 24 procedures.
• Must be willing to keep the test sites dry for the duration of the study (no showers or immersion of test sites in water; only sponge baths, avoiding area)
• Cannot be a regular (occasional to daily) smoker of cigarettes or user of electronic cigarettes (vaping pens).
• Cannot be a regular user of any topical medications on the lower legs.
• Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
• Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
• Cannot have participated on a study involving the legs at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.

Visit 1 Instructions

• Avoid extended periods of sun exposure and use of all tanning beds and sunless tanning products for the duration of the study. Extra care should be taken to wear protective clothing and to avoid sun exposure from 10 AM to 3 PM.
• Bring your valid ID or passport.
