Study Description:
Sun protection is always in style. Join a study researching how well sunscreens protect your skin from UV rays and receive up to $750 upon completion.
Study Requirements:
- Must be willing to receive artificial UV radiation and have a lower back that is hairless, free of tattoos, visible markings or uneven skin tone and refrain from additional sun exposure for the duration of the study.
- Must be willing to undergo a blood screening, local anesthetic injection and receive 6 biopsies on the test area.
- Cannot have any known sensitivities to lidocaine or other personal care products or known abnormal reactions or sensitivities to sunlight or artificial sunlight exposure.
- Cannot have any active or dormant skin diseases or be on any medications that the study leader determines could impact results of the study.
- Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS Stephens, another research facility or doctor’s office or have participated on a study involving the lower back at SGS Stephens, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 months or 6 months for a UV radiation study.
