The purpose of this study is to see how effective a moisturizer and serum is when used over the course of 8 hours.

Must have, visual and tactical, lack of skin smoothness (roughness) on the global face.
Some must have redness on the global face.
Some must have sensitive skin.
Must be a regular user of a sunscreen product and is willing to use daily as directed for the duration of the study.
Males: Must have no facial hair (no mustache, goatee, beard, long sideburns, etc) so the face is visible for assessments and be willing to shave within 24 hours of each visit.
Cannot be a regular (occasional to daily) smoker of cigarettes or user of electronic cigarettes (vaping pens).
Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.
Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
Cannot have participated on a study involving the face at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2

Visit 1 Instructions

Wash your face and/or remove all makeup at least 30 minutes prior to each scheduled clinic visit. Do not apply any other topical products to the face or eye area until the study visit has been completed. If you arrive having not removed all makeup, you will be required to remove the residual makeup at the clinic and wait at least 20 minutes prior to procedures.
Refrain from any activities that will increase body temperature or induce sweating, such as drinking hot, iced, and/or caffeinated beverages, smoking, eating hot/spicy food, exercising, sun exposure, etc, at least 1 hour before visit 2, and refrain these these activities until completion of hour 8 procedures.
Males: Attend each visit with no facial hair (no mustache, goatee, beard, long sideburns, etc), having shaved within 24 hours of each visit.
Avoid extended periods of sun exposure and all use of tanning beds and sunless tanning products for the duration of the study. Extra care should be taken to wear protective clothing, sunscreen, and accessories (such as sunglasses, hat, parasol) and avoid sun exposure from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Continue use of all regular brands of color cosmetics, makeup remover, facial soap/cleanser, and sunscreen. Refrain from using any antiaging or moisturizing products and do not start using any new facial products other than the assigned test materials.
